Most of us uses Windows as OS, but are we using because we own it, or is it that because we have the installation disc, maybe we have downloaded it from some torrent or got a copy from friends, is it legal, I guess no, because we are not buying it, we are not the legal owner of it. Maybe Linux is having some issues with your machine, but I've already used it and it didn't brought me any problem I guess. And yes if you turn off the Windows Update then you would not face any problem of system blockage but Windows is least secure. If you use Linux then there are very very little bit of chance for getting affected with viruses and worms,this is the reason why most of the Bid IT Companies and Programmers uses Linux, what you can't get with Windows.
i get linux from you.BUT it doesnt work currectly .also many inter net modem doesnt support linux.we know that we doesnt use genuine windows and it can create some problem.
BUT DONT WORRY IF YOU CLOSE THE AUTO UPDATE OPTION OFF WHILE INSTALLATION IT WILL NOT DISTURB YOU.
