First of all wish all of you a Very Very Happy Holi the festival of colours. It has been long since my last post, and I feel really sorry for my fellow readers who were regular during the past few months. I am really sorry guys, it is due to the extreme work pressure I’m going through in my job, I hope you understand it well. Okay fine, it is better to start afresh from where I left, first of all I will finish the incomplete post of getting the Government Jobs Tricks at 2016. Then I’m up for new challenges and posts every alternative day guaranteed, more ever I’m planning for two new things which are going to be a blessing for the budding Civil Engineers, and also to the Engineers working in the field.

Civil Engineering Tutorial

My Plans :-

  • First of all I’m going to start a new section in Youtube, where I will be posting videos showing the Tutorials on Drafting and Structural Designing Software
  • In that very Youtube page I’ll be also guiding you guys specially to the students about various topics of Civil Engineering by means of Video Lectures, Like Designing Surveying, Construction Estimate etc. that is Online Civil Engineering Video Tutorials

The very reason behind this is that, I know in most of the class rooms the lecturers are much more eager to finish the syllabus off than trying to make the students understand about the concepts into the deep, the results due to this are that the students are passing the exams with good percentile but not acquiring the knowledge and concepts required by an Engineer in the filed, as in the real field each and every day, situation will arise where you have to apply the concepts from the root to tackle the situation in a righteous manner, which solutions cannot be obtain by solving some few class problems. They are to be solved by applying the Engineering Skills, and I also understand that most of the students are ignorant to learn just because they think that others will laugh on them as they cannot understand the topics clearly and others can. So from the new month of May or Mid of April I’ll teach you how to spark up the light resting within you, and I promise you will be able to compete with others in the field much much more confidently.

Links will be posted soon on this page.

    A.M.I.E. vs B.Tech. or B.E.

A Fact that if A.M.I.E. is to be De-Recognized then almost 85% of the Engineering Colleges must be Shut down and De-Recognized prior to that , After reading the following I think one will be able to take proper decision.
    A.M.I.E. vs B.E./B.TECH.

    1) In A.M.I.E. one has to write a paper of Full Paper of 100 Marks in 3hr There is no Internal Marks, and Pass Marks 50
    vs
In B.E./B.TECH. one has to write a paper of 70 Marks, 30 Marks is of Internal Assessment of the College, Pass Marks is 40 out of Total 100 (70+30), In Most of the Colleges one can easily get 20 out of 30 even without writing anything in the Internal, that means they only need 20 Marks out of 100 Virtually to pass a Subject.

    2) In A.M.I.E. Question Standards are much much tougher than B.E./B.TECH. as most of the papers are set by prominent Professional and Person from Reputed Institutions/Universities . It is very hard to even get pass marks. All questions are in depth and unified all over the country.
    Vs
In B.E./B.TECH. questions are set by different universities, questions not being uniform all over the country. If the Question Standards are compared with that of the A.M.I.E. , B.E./B.TECH Questions will fall as sub-standard.

    3) In A.M.I.E. one has to give exam not at Home Centre, so there is no chance of Cheating and Getting Marcy, hence the Exams are Clean, and the marks secured by students are due to their own knowledge, not by copying or cheating
    Vs
In B.E./B.TECH. one has to give exam in the Home Centre, and lots of Cheating in the Exam Hall goes on, and as the students are of their own college they tend to Marcy them and even allow them intentionally, hence most of them have High Marks but Shallow Knowledge on the Subjects.
    Advantages of A.M.I.E. over B.E./B.TECH.

    4) In the case of the most of the Diploma Engineers who are employed in different Companies and Government Sector they are not able to Pursue Degree in regular B.E./B.TECH. due to their Day Job can Carry on their Degree through A.M.I.E. , if A.M.I.E. is De-recognized then the Diploma Engineers will not be able to further Study and it will void the Fundamental Right of “Right To Education” of Indian Constitution.

    5) A.M.I.E. can be done only by the person who are employed in the Engineering Field, hence an A.M.I.E. passed Engineer will have a Degree backed up with Years of Experience, which makes them much more Industry Ready, than fresher B.E./B.TECH. with No Experience.
    3) The Total Cost of completing A.M.I.E. at the present day will be less than Rs. 25000/- whereas that for B.E./B.TECH. is about Rs. 4,50,000/- at minimum.

    6) The quality of A.M.I.E. student and Studies can be judged by an practical example that most of the Government Engineers in various sectors are from reputed Institutions like IIT’s, IISc, A.M.I.E. and NIT’s , percentage of B.E./B.TECH. in Government Job other than that from reputed institutions are very less. Government Engineering jobs are very hard to get and Recruitments are highly competitive and this tells the all story of the Quality of the A.M.I.E.

    7) Indian Engineering Degrees was not recognized in other countries like USA,UK etc. before the Indian became a member of Washington Accord recently, but A.M.I.E. was recognized from the very start in all other major countries like UK, USA etc.

    8) Institution of Engineers (India) has got members who are of Top Class in their Field, and that is why Quality in Technical Knowledge is always maintained to a High Standard in A.M.I.E.

    Misconception about A.M.I.E.

    1) A.M.I.E. is Distance Education – Not True, A.M.I.E. is a Degree provided by Professional Society
    2) There is No Practical and Laboratory Experiments done in A.M.I.E. – Not True, In A.M.I.E. there are 12 Laboratory Experiments covering all subjects feasible to done Laboratory Experiments each containing at least Three to Four Sub Experiments, that means it is equivalent to about 40 Experiments of B.E./B.TECH. including Surveying also. There is also Project Work.

How To Get Government Job 2020 My Success Story

Job In Government, A Dream of Everyone, say most of one. But it is really hard to get a government job, yes it is very very tough indeed as there is immense competition from all the levels. But believe me it is hard to get but not impossible at all if you are really really in die heart dedication for getting it. Government Job ? people say that everything is corrupted no one can have a job without costing monetarily, may be there are few people who are doing this, but always remember that, if you have true quality then nothing can stop you in your way of achieving your dreams, believe me, you won’t have to bribe to get a job if you are excellent, because you are going to outperform everyone else by your capabilities. The main problem is that we want to have a government job, but we are not eager to give that amount of hard work what it takes to achieve that position, and this is the main problem is being the barrier between us and a Government Job. As a Civil Engineer I always dreamed like most of you of getting a government job, but as it is said
“Real dREAM is What keePs yOu Awake, not letting you to sleep”.
Now first of all let me tell you that, it is not a magic black or white not a pure luck what can bring you a Government Job, it need lots of dedication, passion and hard work, I mean lots of it. So if you are willing to accept this challenge and you are really willing to get a Government Job then keep reading, or else you may leave by now sorry pal.
So I think you are ready, and damn focused to fulfill your dream right? This is the very first step you need. I have catagorised all the steps through which if you go, and honestly follow then you have 90% chance of getting a government job, rest of 10% is reserved for the Unlucky Luck. Okay Let’s Start………

Future Ahead Sign Board For Presentation

    1) Preparing Yourself Mentally For Getting A Government Job ………

The most important and vital step in anything is than preparing yourself mentally, that is making a scratch on your mind and asking yourself What You Really Want. Ask Yourself these questions along with me :-
    • Do I really Like Government Job?
    • How Badly I need it?
    • Can I work Hard, Hard enough day and night to reach that ultimate Goal?
    • Can I Sacrifice most of my entertainment, like going to movies ?
    • Can I restrict myself from “facebooking”, “tweetering”, and blah blah blah things ?

Ask Yourself, can you make these sacrifices, are you strong enough to stand by your side at your worst time? if you can do, then you are eligible for the next steps, congratulations buddy you have passe the first step between you and your government job.
My few Tips regarding bringing yourself  with hard solid mental backbone.

    1. Always remember, the people who are getting Government Job are also human like you and me, nothing too special about them, that they can and you will not get, You are also strong enough in your way, just need to realize your potential that is within you, a sleeping Lion Indeed, Awake it Now, I know You have the power to combat other competitors.
    2. Believe and Trust Yourself that You can achieve what you want it because you have really really worked hard for it and no way now you are going back without grabbing your target, you have to must must get it to give all the hard work the proper justice they deserve.
    3. Never take Government Job as an Option, Take it as the only way to goo through, no other way no other exit point, You have no choices left.
    4.  Be Brave A Heart, Don’t think about what the result would be, rather concentrate on your hard work, do not expect but always give.
    5. Watch Movies Like Three Idiots, and dream yourself (Yes, one of the moral is Concept and knowledge is greater than the bookish language)
    6. Tell yourself that all the hard work is only for a l;imited time but this will bring you the ultimate glory, Your Dream, The Respect, A Distinct Class or Level as compared to others.
    7. Challenge Yourself (Outer one, the Physical You) by your inner self that is the person you are (Mental You) everyday that You can and You will achieve You Will Get that bloody Job,” Let us see Who Wins, My Tiredness or My Dedication, My Luck or My Intense Hard Work and eager” .
    8. Think of getting revenge to someone, that you will show them out what you are really capable of What “XYZ” (Put Your Name in place of xyz) is, like to the Girl Friend who ditched You, Your Classmates, Your neighbors, cousins, relatives etc.

    2) Understanding The Recruitment Procedure Of Government Job :

First of let us understand the basic recruitment process of a government job is a Competitive Exam and after that an Interview. The main hurdle is to succeed in the Competitive exam and go to the next round that is interview. Corer of people give competitive exam for government job, a cut of marks is set by the recruiters, generally is is set to 70% of the marks of the written examination. People getting 70% or higher in the competitive exam will get the chance to give interview. but there is a slight twist, many government jobs are based on the merit list prepared by the combined marks of written and interview, like 100 marks maybe allotted for the written test and 30 marks for the interview, in this case one must score highest as much as possible as in this case exceeding only the cut of will not help later as the final selection will be based on the combined marks of the written test and the interview.
Let us consider a case between two person Mr.X and Ms.Y. , they have given the competitive exam of marks 200 and both of them clearing the cut of marks of 140. There marks obtained in written test and interview is given as under :
Mr. X got 150 Marks in written test and 30 marks in interview out of 50, Total = 150+30 = 180 out of 250
Ms. Y got 170 Marks in written test and 20 marks interview out of 50, Total = 170+20=190 out of 250
Here we see that in interview Ms. Y didn’t perform as well as Mr. X, but due to the fact that Ms. Y was a lot ahead of Mr. X so her total marks become higher than that of Mr. X and She will get the Government Job.
Therefore, do not only target for cut of, target for the highest possible, as it will help later on.
Now if the two stages that are Written and Interview are if independent of one another, means combined marks are not considered only the written test is a gate pass to the interview, in that case Only Cut of is needed, but the marks of written test will be considered only when there will be a Tie in the Interview.

    3) Make Strategies to Get The Government Job :

This is the planning stage for your long term goal of getting a government job. This stage is essential, as without proper planning and strategies that is without the systematic approach it will be troublesome to achieve your goal without any loss of the valuable time you will invest for the preparation of getting a government job. Proper strategies and planning will result in easy preparations, efficient use of time, increase the chances of success, ensure highest return in terms of benefits for the time invested. So here it is,
Our First step in strategic planning is to brake up the whole recruitment process into smaller parts. The whole recruitment process can be split into two main parts as Written Test and Interview. Let us first discuss about the Written Test. In any competitive exam written tests are structured by combining more than one category of questions of different domain. By this I mean the whole written test can be split into many parts. Considering a written test for recruitment of Engineer, the whole written test questions can be categorized under the following heads

    i) Technical Questions
ii) Questions on Aptitude and Reasoning
    iii)Questions on Arithmetic Numerical
    iv) Question on General Knowledge
    v) Questions on Current Affairs
    vi) Questions on General English

So this is the whole structure in general of any competitive exam for Government Job. But the fact is that the marks allotted for each type of categories are not equally distributed.Generally in all case major priority is given to the Technical Questions where the most of the marks are allotted, then rest of the categories are more or less same distributed with the equal marks of the remaining portion. Generally the allotment of the marks are as follows

    i) Technical Questions – 60%
ii) Questions on Aptitude and Reasoning – 10%
    iii)Questions on Arithmetic Numerical – 10%
iv) Question on General Knowledge – 8%
    v) Questions on Current Affairs – 7%
vi) Questions on General English – 5%

This is only an approximate percentage share of type of questions, but varies from exam to exam, like Railway Job will concentrate more on General Knowledge and Current Affairs rather than Technical Knowledge, but PWD, Irrigation etc Departments will concentrate more on Technical Questions as they are purely Technical Organizations.

Now talking about the interview, it can be split up mainly into two parts as far as the Government Jobs are concerned, these are as follows

    i) Technical Round
ii) Personality Testing Round (Which in Private Company Job Known as HR round)

In case of the government job generally both of these are done at a single sitting and under a single interview that you will not notice the fact that you have also gone through the HR round. In general in the interview of an government job the marks distribution for Technical and Non-Technical Questions are as follows

    i) Technical Round – 75%
ii) Personality Testing Round – 25%

and one last thing to say is that be careful because person who will be taking the Technical Interview are in most cases Professors from some reputed Universities or institutions like Jadavpur University, IIT’s etc. So do not even think that without proper knowledge and concept you are going to crack the interview.

Studying Method For Government Job, Preparing For Written Test

As we already know that the whole written test procedure for Government Job Recruitment is divided into many parts within its self, so we have to focus on each individual of them for proper preparation towards success. Now we shall study all the parts one after another as follows :

    a) Technical Part :-

This is one of the most vital part as it will carry the maximum marks in most of the cases and this is a thing which cannot be done within a short time, it is a long run investment of time and yourself fully devoted to it. Preparation for technical part is to be done from the very start of your technical studies, like right from the beginning of your college or else you will not be able to understand and make your self aware of all the topics as the syllabus is vast. Many people has a tendency to avoid proper studying and concept building, rather they try to memorize things, use cheats and other methods to pass the exam, most of them even score above 80% marks in Engineering but ultimately the fact is that within their self they have nothing, no concepts no knowledge. They may think that recruiters will focus on marks, but this is a total misconception about the recruitment. Because in the Recruitment Test you will not be able to cheat, not be able to get any internal marks etc. and paper are made in a way that it will judge do you have concept or not. So getting High marks without Knowledge is something that will make you ashamed of your self in the future.
So don’t cheat yourself, from the very start work hard, work honestly, concentrate on each topic which are being taught in the class and clear all the doubts about each topic during the classes, because these are something which you cannot make up later on, after passing out there will be no one to guide you on every day on each topic, and most importantly do not miss Lab Classes, because these are highly related to the field work, and once you have missed the particular experiment you have lost it forever until you have your personal Laboratory.
Now after the College is over, bring out your syllabus for each subject of the full engineering course which you have studied in your college. Then Read the each of the, I mean each and every Topic of a subject according to the syllabus, at this time do not try to mesmerize anything, just concentrate on building your proper concepts and knowledge by understanding all of them. Do this for all of the subjects. Only after properly understanding all of the topics of all the subjects then try to find out all the MCQ possible from each topic from all subjects, and then try to memorize, you will find that now memorizing will be easier as you have already understood the concepts behind that, and most of them will be memorized very easily without any hardship.
Only after the previous step then buy some books on MCQ on your particular Engineering Branch, and study the MCQ from There. or You may find lots of MCQ on Internet.
After all of these, Keep giving Revision to everything as may time as possible. Revision is very necessary as we tend to forget minute things easily as there are various numbers of vast topics and MCQs. As it is said, Practice Makes a Man Perfect.
Make one thing Clear If You Cannot Have The Capability And Knowledge To Serve Your Organization, Then Why Would They Recruit You And Give You Salary, See from the Recruiter’s Point of View and Think Again.

    b) Aptitude and Reasoning :-

This is a very vital part, now a days it is included in all kind of government recruitment written test.
This is the part which is both critical and very easy to score at the same time. I said critical because
you will not be able to answer the questions without intelligence and practice. I said it easy because
if you prepare yourself for this then it is not too hard to get 20 marks in 10 minutes in this part.
So it is upto you,you can make it feel hard or easy by your self. The main key to score good in this area
    is Constant Practicing.
The whole part can be divided into two things first of all Arithmetic and secondly the Reasoning Part.
Asthmatics are problem based numerical asking for solutions. The problems are related to the practical
life problems like movement of train, Profit Loss etc.The main type of numerical which are most common
    areas follows :-

    a) Numerical On Percentage Profit/Loss
    b) Numerical On Work and Time
    c) Numerical On Tank Filling and Time
    d) Numerical On Proportions
    e) Numerical On Distance Travel And Velocity
    f) Numerical On Distance Travel and Time
    g) Numerical On Velocity and Time
    h) Numerical On Relative Velocities of Different Vehicles
    i) Numerical On Interest Calculation Both Simple and Compound
    j) Numerical On Area Of Land of Different Geometrical Shapes and Their Variations By Changing Parameters

The above mentioned are the most common types of Numerical which are generally given on written Test For Any Government Job. For this I would suggest you to practice the numerical found on different sample paper books for preparation of RRB which are easily found on market.Complete all numerical by yourself, do not ask for help at first, initially it may take time to find out the right process of solving, but try yourself
at first, if not solved then try again and again by different methods, let your brain work out hard, think
about the problem, what it is asking for, look at the data given then try to solve it.Finally when you can’t
answer that then seek for help, or see the solved problem. In this process day by day your own problem solving capabilities will improve, and a time will come when you will be able to solve almost all of the problems by your self without asking for any help, without seeing the solved question, and believe me or not you will beable to solve a problem which you will find initially hard, after constant practicing you will be able to solve similar problems in less than 15 Seconds. But You have to practice again and again to reach that state. it is not a magic that will occur all on a sudden, Invest Time and Concentration Dedication, You will definitely get a return of proper worth what yourall hardwork deserve.

Reasoning is meant for testing Your Intelligence and Thinking capability and instant during a situation.
Reasoning questions are pretty Tricky and always tries to distract you from the actual answer if you are out
of track. Once you fall out of the right track the specialty of the Reasoning questions is that all of of the
given answers with the MCQ seems to feel correct. So keep your brain calm and cool at the time of doing
reasoning because one very small little gap in the concentration can lead you to the wrong answers. So put
all your concentration focused on the problem. The most common types of Reasoning Questions which are given in any Government Recruitment are as follows :-

    a) Problems On Number Logical Series
    b) Problems On Alphabetic Logical Series
    c) Problems On Family Relationships Determination
    d) Problems On Statement and Different Given Cases if True or Not
    e) Problems On Finding Logical Relationship between given Words
    f) Problems On Visual Puzzle For Given Instruction, Like Rolling of Dice.

This Questions are a bit tough, mastering in these topics only can be done by practicing alot. For the Reasoning Study Books of RRB,Bank etc Examination. Alos follow emplotyment News Paper of different types where you will find various Numerical and Reasoing Questions along with the answers explained. You may find various Numerical and Reasoning Questions on the Internet also. In an future article of Techno Genome I will discuss some common problems and proper techniques for solving them easily.
